unlock Iphone Guide

I hope this guide will help people to unlock their Apple Iphone. It’s not super detailed but if you have any questions just post reply and I will try to help as much as possible.

This guide will not work for Iphones with bootloader 4.6 (4th and 5th digit of S/N gives weeknumber, if this is 45 or above youre 99% likely to have bootloader 4.6)

You can unlock all versions with this guide. Also updated 1.1.2.

This guide uses WIFI, if you don’t have WIFI connection, this guide will not help you.

This guide will also not work for already unlocked iphones which have bad updated to 1.1.2. You have to viriginize your Iphone before proceeding. If you need help about that, post reply.

During whole process new simcard must be inserted

Programs can be found here: http://rapidshare.com/files/77051670...en15_.rar.html

It does not contain firmware 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 because it’s too big. You can search on web for that.

1.
Update with Itunes to 1.1.2. Just connect to Itunes and say yes to update. With this update you get new firmware 1.1.2 and new baseband 04.02.13G.

2.
Now that we have the new firmware we have to downgrade to 1.1.1. We have to put the iphone in restore mode. I use program iphoneinterface.exe. It comes with Ibrickr. When opening iphoneinterface.exe type enterrecovery. The iphone goes into restore mode.

3.
Open Itunes, it will say that you need to restore your iphone blab la bla. Hold shift and click restore. Select 1.1.1 firmware. Itunes will fully restore your iphone to 1.1.1 firmware. We still have the new baseband 04.02.13G, that’s good. Itunes will give error 1015, that’s also good. Close Itunes and kill process Ituneshelper.exe (CTR-ALT-DEL).

4.
Open Ibrickr, click on boot the phone. The phone is now working with firmware 1.1.1. Close Ibrickr

5.
Jailbreak the phone with this guide: http://www.hacktheiphone.com/111/iphone_step_1.html.
When you have an active springscreen go back to this guide.

6.
Go to installer and install following:
BSD Subsystem
OpenSSH
Community Sources

7.
Open installer
Click sources, edit, add
Type rep.frenchiphone.com
Go to Install, click frenchiphone.com, install AnySim1.21u

8.
Set autolock to never
Open Anysim
Slide to unlock
It takes about 10 min

9.
Now that anysim is finished the phone is still not unlocked, don’t worry that’s normal
Go to installer again and install Oktoprep
Don’t reboot after installing Oktoprep
Open Itunes
Click help and check for updates
Choose 1.1.2 firmware
After finishing close Itunes and kill ItunesHelper.exe again

10.
Start windows.bat from the map jailbreak1.1.2
Click install ssh and password is alpine
It takes about 10 min
After that the iphone will reboot a couple of times, that’s normal

11.
Go to installer
Install Iworld
Open Iworld from springscreen and install.

12.
Your Iphone is now fully unlocked and has latest firmware 1.1.2 and new baseband 04.02.13G.

Disclaimer

This is beta so run at your own risk!

It should not do any damage to your phone anyway because you can easily reflash all the old original files.

And you should not break any warranty. Would also be a good idea to backup any files you might need just incase! Dont blame me!

Also a through one beta tester hit the start button twice wait when it says wait for 20mins dont be scared let it run 20mins!

Iphone Software Unlock GUI!

http://rs205cg.rapidshare.com/files/55177995/dl/iUnlock

You should now see Unlock icon on your iphone run this!

Leave it for about 20mins to work (yes slow but im working an know how to make this around 3minutes already tested)

it should pause at Flashing firmware for 20minutes, this and wont move the percentage bar will not move as this is beta the new version will be a 2-5minute process.

This is still buggy and i will release a faster version in a few days as i havent slept.

Also when after complete hit the home button and restart iphone if you dont get signal

And a shoutout to all those reporters who manage to get stories completly wrong

Especially Gizmodo (Who claim the app was stolen but i have confirmed it was non-finished)

With logs cut up with 2 hour delays very good for a professional blog not so professional now!
